Wildlife monitoring where there is no power line.
A GrizCam is a rugged (IP67), off-grid sensing unit. It sees, hears and senses its surroundings, decides on the device what matters, and sends only that, so it works where there is no power line and little or no signal. It runs months on battery, and continuously on solar.
280° of view, and motion all the way around.
A 280° field of view, up to 4K, day and night, with 360° motion detection. The low-power watch runs all the way around and wakes the cameras and microphones when something is worth a look.
Which way the sound came from.
A multi-microphone acoustic array records at up to 96 kHz, which captures sounds up to about 48 kHz. It estimates the direction each sound came from: a gunshot, an engine, a wolf howl.
Smoke, fuel and the weather around it.
Compound sensing picks up wildfire smoke and fuel vapors. Environmental sensors log temperature (±0.1 °C), humidity, pressure and air quality.
Fewer empty frames.
ANA, the on-device AI, learns its own scene and wakes the 4K cameras only when motion is worth a look. In a peer-reviewed field trial it captured false-positive images in about 1% of events, against about 50% and 6% for two widely used trail cameras (Kaltenbach et al., Wildlife Society Bulletin, 2025).
Four ways to get data out.
A private mesh between devices (0.5–3 km), cellular (LTE-M), satellite (coming soon), and encrypted offline storage. Data is encrypted on the device and off it.
On your computer, GrizCam Desktop works the recordings: free passive acoustic monitoring software for the audio and free camera-trap software for the images and video.
