In a peer-reviewed three-month field trial in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (Kaltenbach et al., Wildlife Society Bulletin, 2025), GrizCam’s edge-AI prototype captured false-positive images in about 1% of events at average conditions — versus about 50% for a Browning and 6% for a Reconyx trail camera — and nearly zero in heat of 30 °C or more. We keep testing and publish new results as they come in.
